Our goal is to train the driver how to use his vehicle
as a means of escape or weapon for survival. The driver
will learn his and the car’s capability. The training
will emphasize the importance of being mentally prepared
in order to be able to react.
Each Prime Defence instructor used in this course has
at least five (5) years experience with antiterrorist
operations and antiterrorist drivers training. Our instructors
have participated in numerous international and domestic
protection details for corporations and government agencies,
as well as provided training for corporate and government
protection details in the areas of anti-terrorism, firearms,
medical, advance team operations, driving, surveillance
and counter surveillance.
The basic tenants of vehicle control, advanced braking
techniques, and the concepts of accident avoidance are
described in lecture. Through practical demonstration
and individual participation, students learn and practice
precision driving, skid control, straight line braking,
braking and turning, off road recovery, and accident
avoidance. Students learn the dynamics and physical
skill necessary to avoid or evade imminent attack. Students
become proficient at rapidly turning the vehicle using
forward or reverse 180 turns. Specialized techniques
are demonstrated by instructors and practiced by each
student in disposable vehicles. Tactical ramming is
used as counter assaults to an over run or drive by
attack. Specialized frontal and reverse ramming techniques
are demonstrated by instructors and practiced by each
student in disposable vehicles. Instructors demonstrate
current methodology found in improvised explosive devices.
A thorough system of vehicle protection and searches
is taught in lecture and applied in practical exercise
using inert explosive devices hidden on standard vehicles.
Government agencies and corporations increasingly turn
to Prime Defence for the complete development and implementation
of crisis management, emergency response plans and covert
operations. Prime Defence works with its clients to
establish command procedures, train employees, co-ordinate
rescue and recovery efforts, and to keep operations
running securely.
